Our flying site is located in the beautiful Dorset countryside just of the A354 - Blandford to Salisbury Road.  From Ringwood and the A31 it is just 25 mins drive.  Glorious views across the rural countryside are an added bonus.

The grass is regularily cut by professional contractors.  The field is large enough to allow us to use large scale models and also during the warmer months to hold Scale Days, Gliding and Control Line Competions. 

Generally, wind direction dependent the Pits Area is on the left of the field photo.  The "rough area" in photo sits between the flying areas and the club hut and acts as "brake area" in case of landing/take-off problems and usually saves a model from serious damage

During the Summer months the BBQ gets quite good use too, especially at weekends, usually Saturdays but also Sundays if there is an event in progress.#

The field is in use ALL year round, no "seasons" for us.  Even the Snow doesn't stop us having a quick flight either.  Take a look at the photos below.  Click to enlarge.
