Had to be Fridays this time I am afraid (only times available). Dates will be published in Flying Matters which is due out in about a week.

Hi David,

Thanks for info, but is there any reason why dates cannot be published here, now?

If the dates are already confirmed, please can they be forwarded to either myself or Phil to be published online.

??

David, i've not had an email from you confirming indoor dates. It would helpful if the website could be updated with this info. Otherwise, whats the point of having a tool for spreading up to date information to members?

The website is now able to be updated.
First indoor meet Friday 15th Oct. New times 7-9pm. Two fridays per month.

As always the website update will be a few days/weeks behind the publication of flying matters.

You probably would, however these types of models tend to fly faster than a shock flyer type and would be fairly limited in a hall. I don't know this particular model but have seen others like it.

Cheers, Jon. Seems a very quick and "cheap" route for me to be able to come along and join in, I will keep researching and see which ones have a sensible cruising speed! Seen a video for the Kyosho Minium Cessna which seems pretty docile and they were flying that in a hall.

One of the biggest problems with indoor flying is that there's no time to relax because you're never more than 5m from the floor, the ceiling or the wall. So the only way to give yourself more time is to fly slowly and aileron/elevator models don't work well at low speeds; you need a rudder. My advice would be to get a parkzone vapor. They fly slowly to get you used to the hall. There is enough power for a loop and they can also fly harriers which is a good skill to develop in readiness for a more advanced model. The parkzone ember is not as good, by the way. Not as powerful so it won't loop and the foam wings are not as strong as the carbon framed vapor wings. Another advantage of the parkzone models is that they use spektrum receivers which means you could buy the BNF version and use your own spektrum radio, ideal for glitch-free shockies in the future.
